Trademark Class Finder
Type what you sell. The finder searches the 45 Nice classes used by the Trade Marks Registry and shows the classes to consider for your application.
How this tool works
- India follows the Nice Classification: classes 1 to 34 cover goods and 35 to 45 cover services.
- Protection applies only to the classes you file in, so file in every class you sell in or plan to soon.
- An online store usually needs class 35 for retail services as well as the classes for the products themselves.
- The descriptions here are short summaries. The Registry's class headings and the full Nice list decide the exact scope.
