GST Registration Checker
Answer five questions. The checker applies the turnover thresholds in section 22 and the compulsory categories in section 24 of the CGST Act.
How this tool works
- Goods suppliers must register above ₹40 lakh aggregate turnover in most states and ₹20 lakh in special category states.
- Service providers (or mixed suppliers) must register above ₹20 lakh, or ₹10 lakh in special category states.
- Some businesses must register regardless of turnover, including inter-state suppliers of goods, e-commerce sellers of goods, casual and non-resident taxable persons, and those liable under reverse charge.
- Aggregate turnover counts all taxable, exempt and export supplies made under one PAN across India.
